Guangdong Province’s export volume of construction and sanitary ceramic products from January to December 2020 was US$4.35 billion
From January to December, the industrial added value of Guangdong Province's building materials enterprises above designated size (excluding construction hardware) was 157.07 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.2%; the industrial sales output value was 620.82 billion yuan, an increase of 2.2%, which was higher than that of Guangdong Province's above-scale enterprises. The growth rate of industrial sales output value was 2.5% higher; the total profit was 48.20 billion yuan, an increase of 6.3%, which was 3.1% higher than the profit growth rate of industrial enterprises above designated size in Guangdong Province. From January to November, the output of ceramic tiles fell by 4.3% year-on-year, and the output of sanitary ceramics fell by 4.6% year-on-year, with the decline rate narrowing by 14.5% and 16.9% compared with the first half of the year.
According to customs statistics, from January to December, the export volume of Guangdong Province's construction and sanitary ceramic products was US$4.35 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 15.1%. Among them, the export value of architectural ceramics was US$1.68 billion, a decrease of 28.7%. The export value of sanitary ceramics was US$2.21 billion, down 8.1%.
