20 major water conservancy projects passed completion acceptance in 2022

Recently, there have been 9 flood storage embankment reinforcement projects, including the Guanyinge Reservoir water transfer project in Liaoning Province, the Dawei reinforcement project in Shantou, Guangdong Province, the Anhua flood storage embankment reinforcement project in Dongting Lake District, Hunan Province, the Huanggai Lake flood control project in Hunan Province, and the Shijia irrigation project in Henan Province. Five major water conservancy projects including the river management project have successively passed completion acceptance.
Liaoning Province Guanyinge Reservoir Water Transfer Project is located in the jurisdiction of Benxi City. The project is large (2) type II. The main buildings include water intake head, water transfer tunnel, power station, transmission Water pipelines, Dayu water distribution station, Beitai water distribution station, dispatch center, etc. The project scale is 1.25 million cubic meters per day, the water delivery guarantee rate is 95%, and the average water delivery for many years is 406.7 million cubic meters. The length of the project line is 91.3 kilometers, of which the water transmission tunnel is 41.5 kilometers long and the water transmission pipeline is 49.8 kilometers long.
The Guanyinge Reservoir Water Conveyance Project is one of the 172 major water conservancy projects in my country. It is also a key livelihood project in Benxi City. It is important for ensuring the safety of drinking water in Benxi City and solving the problem of Benxi Steel and Beitai. The water quantity and quality safety issues existing in large enterprises such as steel plants are of great significance in promoting the economic and social development of Benxi.
The Dawei Standard Reinforcement Project in Shantou, Guangdong Province undertakes the three major tasks of preventing floods, typhoon surges and drainage within the area. It can effectively protect the 154 square kilometers of Shantou’s central urban area and 1.21 million people. population. Nine flood storage embankment reinforcement projects, including those in Anhua, Dongting Lake District, Hunan Province, play an important role in eliminating regional flood control safety hazards, improving the river basin flood control system, and ensuring the safety of people's lives and property in the region and the sustained and stable economic and social development. The Huanggai Lake flood control project and the Henan Province Shiguan River control project will play significant flood control and ecological roles.
Up to now, 20 major water conservancy projects have passed completion acceptance this year, fully utilizing the project benefits.
