On June 13, the multi-functional operation and maintenance mother ship "Fenghua 23", developed and designed by the 708th Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation and built by Southeast Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Fujian Shipping Administration, was completed and delivered. The ship is my country's first large-scale offshore wind power multi-functional operation and maintenance mother ship independently designed and built with completely independent intellectual property rights. The ship has a total length of 98 meters, a molded width of 22.8 meters, a molded depth of 9 meters, a cable carrying capacity of about 2,500 tons, and can carry 20 crew members and 40 special operations personnel. The endurance is more than 10,000 nautical miles.
The ship’s specially designed rear operation deck can carry a variety of technical equipment according to different operational needs, and can perform engineering services such as deep-sea wind power operation and maintenance, submarine cable laying and maintenance, etc. It is a powerful tool for the development of deep-sea wind power and other marine engineering operations; its core equipment such as offshore wind power intelligent operation and maintenance system, cable laying operation system and buried plow are all 100% domestically produced.
As the new installed capacity of the offshore wind power industry develops towards the deep sea space with better wind energy resources, the demand for deep sea wind power operation and maintenance continues to increase, and offshore wind power operation and maintenance also requires Use more professional operation and maintenance equipment.
