The heavier the ceramic tiles, the higher the density of the product. When you are on site, you can weigh the ceramic tiles and feel the weight. Taking 800*800 floor tiles as an example, one piece is about 15kg.
2. Scrape
The hardness of ceramic tiles is high, and the product is wear-resistant; the quality can be seen from the traces. Check the surface quality of the ceramic tiles. You can scrape them with a hard object to see if they are scratch-resistant.
3.Look
The product has high gloss – the higher the gloss, the better the decorative effect!
4. Knock
The sound of knocking ceramic tiles is crisp and clear; the most important thing when choosing ceramic tiles is to consider quality issues. There are many standards for identifying the quality of ceramic tiles. You can knock them. The crisp sound indicates that the ceramic tiles have high porcelain density and good quality.
5. Amount
Use a ruler or measuring tape to measure the tiles on all four sides and diagonally to check the size. See if the size is standard.
6. Rub
When purchasing, check with the naked eye whether there are any pinholes on the surface. If there are any, it means that the glaze is not completely integrated and it is easy to accumulate dirt. You can use some pens to write on it to see if it can be wiped off.
7. Waterproof
You can drop water on the back of the ceramic tile to see how fast the water soaks after it spreads. Generally speaking, the slower the water absorption is, the greater the density of the ceramic tile is; conversely, the faster the water absorption is, the sparse density is. Comparing the two, the one that absorbs water slowly is of better quality.
