As of the end of May, the country's cumulative installed power generation capacity was approximately 2.67 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%. Among them, the installed capacity of solar power generation is approximately 450 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 38.4%; the installed wind power capacity is approximately 380 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 12.7%.
From January to May, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment nationwide was 1,430 hours, 32 hours less than the same period last year. Among them, there were 967 hours of hydropower, 294 hours less than the same period last year; 535 hours of solar power, 28 hours less than the same period last year; 1,081 hours of wind power, 105 hours more than the same period last year; 1,765 hours of thermal power, 45 hours more than the same period last year. ; Nuclear power 3122 hours, an increase of 41 hours compared with the same period last year.
From January to May, the country’s major power generation companies completed investment of 238.9 billion yuan in power supply projects, a year-on-year increase of 62.5%. Among them, solar power generation was 98.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 140.3%; nuclear power was 26.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 66.5%. The investment in power grid projects was 140 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.8%.
